Pang Yui Gi

Physiotherapy Assistant

Biography

Yui Gi graduated from the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) in 2021 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (HONS) with Merit. Upon her graduation, she started working in a private physiotherapy clinic in Selangor, Malaysia. Yui Gi was working with post-operative orthopaedic patients, planning and executing rehabilitation plans for patients recovering from Total Knee Replacement (TKR)/Total Hip Replacement (THR), rotator cuff repairs, and ACL reconstructions. She had also worked with patients with chronic low back pain, neck pain, and other musculoskeletal issues.

Leaving the comfort of home to Singapore, and knowingly understanding that her degree doesn’t allow her to work as a physiotherapist in Singapore, she works closely with our physiotherapist to supervise our patients with their exercise program and administer the Electro-Physical Agents (EPA) treatment prescribed by our physiotherapists. Being an additional pair of eyes in supervising our patients through their rehab, she gives feedback to our physiotherapists on her observation while supervising them doing their exercises. She has an innate passion to help patients. Armed with empathy and her physiotherapy knowledge, working under our physiotherapist’s instructions and guidance, our patients are in great hands with her assistance.
